Shipping & Fulfilment Policy

At KDAC, we're committed to delivering a seamless, efficient, and reliable order fulfilment experience for our customers across Australia. Whether you're ordering electrical supplies for a small project or stocking up for commercial-scale operations, we prioritise fast, transparent service from the moment you place your order.

Order Processing & Fulfilment

  • Order Cut-Off Time: Orders received before 12:00 PM AEST on business days are usually processed the same day.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Live stock updates minimise delays. If an issue arises, we’ll contact you with options including alternative products, refunds, or partial shipping.

All orders are carefully packed with secure packaging materials. Special handling is applied for fragile or industrial-grade items.

Delivery Services

We deliver via trusted carriers based on the most suitable method for your order:

  • Australia Post
  • Sendle
  • Wurth Australia (for select industry-rated logistics)
  • Other couriers including TNT, CouriersPlease, and StarTrack

Note: Shipping delays may occur during peak periods or due to carrier issues.

Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and delivery location. Where possible, we use discounted rates for prepaid satchels to save you money.

  • Large or bulky orders may incur extra freight charges. We will notify you before dispatch.
  • If you believe shipping charges are incorrect, contact us at info@kdac.com.au before completing your transaction.

Special Deliveries & Authority to Leave

Customers may request Authority to Leave (ATL) at checkout. Please note: ATL deliveries are not eligible for compensation if lost or stolen.

We do our best to follow your delivery instructions, though some couriers may not guarantee special handling requests.

Missing or Delayed Parcels

KDAC is not liable for lost parcels. Transit insurance is not included by default but is available on request for an additional fee.

If your parcel is lost in transit:

  • We’ll assist you with submitting a claim to the delivery provider.
  • If compensation is awarded, we will offer a refund or reship your goods up to the recovered amount.
  • Redirected parcels to alternate addresses are not covered for loss.

Backorders

If any items are out of stock, we will contact you to offer the following options:

  • Wait for restock and ship complete
  • Split the shipment (extra fees may apply)
  • Substitute with a similar item
  • Full refund for the backordered items

Fulfilment for Trade Account Holders

Trade and business clients may benefit from preferred fulfilment. If you're ordering frequently or in bulk, we can coordinate site drop-off, scheduled dispatch, or custom logistics.
